- Job-related records - quotes, invoices, photos taken on site for our own records and your insurer's.
- Basic anonymous analytics about how the website is used (pages visited, device type, approximate location).

- To respond to your enquiry and quote for the work.
- To carry out the work you've instructed and to keep accurate job records.
- To raise invoices and meet our legal accounting obligations.
- To improve the website and our service.We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third-party marketers.

## 3a. Our enquiry form provider
The enquiry form on this website is displayed and securely processed on our behalf by ScaleSuite (portal.scalesuite.co.uk), which acts as our data processor and hosts the form and the enquiries submitted through it. Details you submit are used only to respond to your enquiry and are never sold or used for third-party marketing. You can always contact us directly by phone or email instead of using the form.

## 4. Lawful basis
We rely on (a) your consent when you submit an enquiry, (b) the performance of a contract where you instruct us to do work, and (c) our legitimate interest in running a small business properly (job records, accounting, fraud prevention).

## 5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Job records and invoices are kept for 7 years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements.

A Slater & Son has traded for over 30 years; the business incorporated as A Slater & Son Property Services Ltd in March 2025. Our dedicated locksmith service was added more recently, following formal locksmith training, and offers an emergency locksmith call-out service and aims to attend emergencies within 4 hours.
